YOUNG Keighley-based athletes have reached the final of the Junior Sportshall Athletics Championships.
Next month five athletes will travel to Birmangham represent the region in the national finals of the competition.
Parkside School pupils James Kennelly, Sarah Mallinson and Rachael Holdsworth will be taking part, together with William Bogle, 13 of Greenhead Schools and 12-year-old Leon Smith from Oakbank School.
William and Leon are both former pupils of Guard House Primary School where they started their athletics careers and now train with Bingley Harriers.
Leon recently returned to the school to talk to present pupils about his dedication to sport and his aspirations for the future.
