Brian Noble today revealed he had a series of unprecedented one-to-one meetings with his players following Saturday's defeat to Wigan.

As well as the usual weekly team review of the game, the Bulls coach had face-to-face discussions with each of the players after they crashed to their second home defeat in a row.

But the Great Britain assistant remains confident the Challenge Cup winners can bounce back when St Helens come to Odsal in just two days.

"I had a chat with the players individually," said Noble, who admits his side are slightly off their game at the moment. "It is not something I normally do but I thought it would be a good chance to reiterate certain things and to give the players a chance to offer some feedback on their performances.

"We can do better, I know that and the players know that, but I am confident that we can rectify the situation for Friday."

The Bulls have been off their game the past four weeks, losing at home to London and Wigan, and their cause has not been helped by a rash of new injuries that have hit this week.

Joe Vagana (knee), Karl Pratt (shoulder), Lee Gilmour (knee) and Rob Parker (thigh) will all have fitness tests tomorrow.

"It is a case of all of them or none of them playing," added Noble.
