AWARDS: A new scheme has been launched to help Bradford construction companies facing rising costs for liability insurance.
The National Federation of Builders has joined forces with insurer Zurich to provide more affordable cover to the trade association's 3,000 member companies. Contractors across have suffered from premium hikes since the collapse of Independent Insurance prompted many insurers to withdraw from the construction sector.
The facility - exclusive to the NFB - ensures members are provided with quotations and guarantees renewal invitations 21 days before cover expires.
