Guiseley did neighbours Menston no favours going down to Bilton who have taken over Menston's mantle as league leaders.

Bilton had their overseas player Stephen Phillips in superb form cracking an unbeaten 149 as they gained a seven wickets win.

Guiseley had made a handsome enough score with 250 for three but then failed to defend it as Phillips cut loose.

Bilton were struggling at 83 for three but then Mick Emmerson joined Phillips at the crease and they knocked off the remaining 168 runs required to seal victory.

Guiseley opener Mark Ross had batted well for 81 and Aussie Chris Underwood made 70 but their colleagues floundered against the bowling of Luke Jarvis (3-70) and Phillips (3-68).

Second-placed Menston were frustrated by a Collingham side who held on for two points from a drawn game. This leaves Menston kicking their heels in second place.

Menston totalled 247 for five with opener Gary Thompson hammering 84 and sharing a first wicket stand of 129 with Ned Taylor (63).

Apart from Martin Knowles (4-50) the Menston bowlers were unable to get to grips with things and Collingham hung on at 219 for seven with 49 from J Woodward and 47 from opener M Cooke.

Green Lane are fighting a desperate battle at the foot of the table and they were dismissed for 150.

Follifoot bowled well collectively with D Moss-Blundell the pick of the bunch with three for 26. Follifoot then rubbed off the runs with some solid batting despite the efforts of former Guiseley paceman Neil Allitt who took four for 70 off 15 overs.

Adel bagged all six points from their game at Steeton where the home side posted a score of 237 all out. They went slowly in the early stages but then Jonathan Smith hit out with 68 and D Cook with 38.

Adel were in trouble at 74 four but then a fifth wicket partnership of 148 between Stuart Howie (78) and Rod Jones (72 no) helped them to a victory which took them up to fifth place.

Superb batting from opener Rob Winter saw North Leeds bag all six points from their game at Beckwithshaw.

The home side had made a reasonable 238 for eight after being two for two at one stage. Aussie Chris Cann (60) and Ross Knellor (67) then rescued things with a third wicket stand of 111.

A final flourish from Matthew Smart with 38 not out saw them set a good target.

North Leeds however saw it as no stumbling block with Winter in excellent form gaining support from Guy Hollis (34) and Barry Singleton (26). Otley are battling well following their promotion last season and a six wickets win over Hall Park has seen them move up into joint third place with North Leeds.

Hall Park were dismissed for a mere 90 as the Australian Andrew Burke claimed five for 28 off 16 superb overs. He was well supported by skipper Robert Atkinson with three for 29 off 10.4 overs and Scott Johnson with one for 23 off nine overs and Andrew Mitchell with one for nine off three.

Otley made a solid start through Sam Smith (18) and David Brady (26) while Burke completed a good day's work with 22 as victory was gained in just 18 overs.
