Ilkley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club are pleased to announce that Skipton Building Society and OHS, the Bradford-based occupational health and safety consultants, have confirmed their sponsorship of this year's Ilkley Open Tennis Tournament.

This year will be 107th tournament, and it will run from Saturday, July 28, to Saturday, August 2.

The event continues to be recognised as one of the premier tournaments in the North of England.

This year's tournament will again include the Tier 1 British tour men's and ladies' singles, bringing the best of the up and coming British players to Ilkley.

Billy Kerr, General Manager of Ilkley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club said: "The Ilkley Open continues to be one of the highlights of the year and we are delighted that Skipton Building Society and OHS are continuing their support."

Andrew Gudgeon, Branch Manager of the Skipton Building Society's Ilkley branch said: "We are also once again delighted to be co-sponsors of this prestigious and exciting local tournament and I am sure that it will be a great success.

"In conjunction with the tournament, we are holding an open day at the Ilkley branch on Friday, July 4, and we would like to invite all those who want to attend to come in and see us.

"We will be serving refreshments all day and offering people a chance to enter a free competition to win threemonth's membership to the fitness centre or High Street Vouchers.

"Entry forms will be available either at the branch or at the tennis club, so please come in a pick up your copy before the end of the tournament."

The Ilkley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club has teamed up with Skipton Building Society to promote the event at local schools and are running a competition for children to enter.

Great prizes are up for grabs including tennis lessons at the Ilkley club or High Street Vouchers for the lucky winners.

The entry forms are also available from the Skipton Building Society's branch at 20, The Grove, Ilkley, and need to be returned by 5pm on July 14 when the competition will be drawn.

As in the previous two years there will be no entry charge for spectators at the tournament as the Ilkley club is keen to encourage local support for the event.

Full details of the event will be published locally in mid-July and can also be accessed through the club's website www.iltsc.co.uk.
