Robbie Paul is in a race against time to be fit for the play-offs after a broken arm capped off a night to forget for Bradford rugby.

The Bulls' skipper was taken to hospital with a suspected double fracture in his left arm after a collision with Paul Sculthorpe during last night's humiliating 35-0 defeat to St Helens.

It is believed he could be out for up to ten weeks with the injury, although Bulls staff admit it is too early to say.

"We will have to see what happens, we don't know yet exactly what he has done," said a concerned Brian Noble after his side's third defeat in a row at Odsal.

"It will be a hill to climb, as will be coming back from another disappointing performance.

"I am more than happy with the quality of player in this squad and I am sure whoever is asked to come in will do what is asked of them."

With Michael Withers still recovering from groin surgery, the Challenge Cup winners will be without their first two choices for the number one shirt.

But both Leon Pryce and youngster Stuart Reardon are capable of filling in and Noble is confident that either could do the job.

But Bradford face a disjointed week as they look to bounce back from the humiliation of being 'nilled' at home.

Seven Bulls players go into Origin training camps tomorrow ahead of next Wednesday's game while the remaining players are given time off, leaving the Bulls just Thursday, Friday and Saturday to prepare for Sunday's trip to Wakefield.
