Undercliffe fast bowler Jaffer Nazir could miss the last six weeks of the Bradford League
season after being called up by Pakistan.
Nazir has been selected in a squad of 20 to prepare for the forthcoming Test series against Bangladesh.
The squad will be
ultimately whittled down to 15.
Undercliffe cricket chairman Brian Lymbery said: "Jaffer has been bowling well for Undercliffe.
"It is a deserved honour, but I am hoping that if he isn't selected in the 15-man squad he can come back to play for Undercliffe for the rest of the Bradford League season."
Nazir moved to Undercliffe for the start of this season after four successful seasons in the Bradford League with East Bierley.
He has been in outstanding form in the last month, performing the coveted all-ten feat - ten for 65 - against Yeadon and taking eight for 45 against Gomersal.
He is due to play for Undercliffe at Pudsey St Lawrence on Saturday before flying to Pakistan.
