SILSDEN FC start their 2003-04 campaign tonight (Friday) when they take on Bradford side Albion Sports in the West Riding FA Charity Shield.
The game is to be played at Cougar Park, kicking off at 7.30 with a big crowd expected for the first soccer match of the season at the ground. Proceeds from the game will be divided between the charities of the Keighley Mayor, Nancy Holdsworth, and the Lord Mayor of Bradford Coun Allan Hillary.
"Last year's game was such a success they decided to bring the game back to Keighley," said Jack Holmes, President of the Keighley FA.
