Scouts and Brownies from Ben Rhydding became the first to take advantage of a new offer launched by low-cost airline Jet2. The group made a booking eight months ago and the 46-strong party have now taken the flight. And they were so impressed with their flight from Leeds-Bradford to Amsterdam that they have recommended the service to their Dutch counterparts when they make the return trip to Yorkshire. Philip Meeson, chief executive of Jet2, said: "It is particularly pleasing that our first group booker, Ben Rhydding Scout and Guide Group, has recognised this and recommended Jet2's services to its Dutch counterparts."
