A suspected car thief was arrested by police in Bingley after he was chased onto the roof of a school.
The man and two others were spotted in a Skoda Octavia estate car in Bradford Road, Keighley, just before 3pm yesterday. The car had been reported stolen on October 31. Police followed it and it crashed into a wall at Beckfoot Grammar school, Bingley, at about 3.15pm.
Three men were arrested - including one who had climbed on to a roof at the school - on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
