ONE of Coronation Str-eet's youngest actors will be part of a star-studded family line-up opening a top art exhibition in Ilkley.

Fourteen-year-old Richard Fleesh-man, who plays Craig Harris in the long-running ITV soap opera will be at the launch of the British Watercolour Society and British Society of Miniaturists Christmas Exhibition at the Kings Hall, Winter Gardens on November 22.

He will be joing his father, well-known Shakespearean actor David, and his mother Sue who played Jackie Corkhill in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside.

The Fleeshman family, including their two daughters, will be driven over in a classic white Rolls Royce to Ilkley from Cheshire for the event.

The exhibition runs from 11am to 4pm until November 30.

It will feature around 1,250 original paintings by 175 artists, including fellows, members, associates, companions, friends and art club members as well as many more artists showing for the first time. The entrance fee is £2.50 per person which includes a catalogue.

During the Exhibition there will be Masters of Art demonstrations by four leading artists, including Richard Gawthorpe, Jeremy Taylor, Angela McCall, and Brenda Chappel.
