ONCE again staff, parents and governors of an Ilkley school are celebrating outstanding success in the national curriculum test results for 11-year-olds.
Pupils from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Primary School have achieved a massive score in the Standard Assessment Tests.
Every single one of the 37 children who took the tests achieved Level Four in English Maths and Science.
Sacred Heart has already been named as a Beacon School by the Government because of its consistent outstanding performance, and this year's results show that only three schools in the country achieved a higher standard.
Data on how many children achieve the higher Level 5 results are also
published today, for the first time.
Some extraordinary scores can be seen at Bradford schools, including
Burley and Woodhead Primar.
They had 83 per cent of the children going on to gain Level 5 in English, 53 per cent in maths and 90 per cent reach Level 5 in science. It was another fine achievement.
