Schoolchildren and Keighley market joined forces this week to open the traditional Christmas crib.
Youngsters from St Anne's Roman Catholic Primary School attended the event on Tuesday afternoon.
Made by St Anne's pupils from last year's year six, the crib will remain in the market until Christmas Day.
St Anne's teacher Margaret Coffey said: "The parents have helped and they have been very supportive.
"We are very lucky to have such supporting parents involved at the school."
The children sang two carols at the opening -- Silent Night and Away in a Manger.
Senior market superintendent David Tempest said of the project: "It's a rededication to remind everybody what the story is all about."
The project was organised by Keighley Town Centre Management.
