Physical Education specialists and Sport Coaches from Norway visited Menston St Mary's last Thursday to learn about young people developing leadership and coaching skills. St Mary's has developed an outstanding reputation in this area of work. All students at St Mary's have the opportunity to gain national awards in leadership and coaching and to develop these skills in the wider sporting community. David Geldart, Director of PE at St Mary's said: "In recent years we have seen sports leadership courses have a tremendous impact on young people. It is important that young people develop these skills whilst at school."
