IT will be a big day on Saturday for two young pupils from Guiseley School. Ball boy James Davey will be be stepping out with fellow pupil Catharine Millar on the turf at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium along with the stars of the competing clubs Manchester United and Millwall.

The pair's thoughts however will not necessarily be with Roy Keane's Manchester or Dennis Wise's Millwall for both are Leeds United fans.

After the disappointment of their Premiership season the pair will be looking for a great day out, particularly Catharine whose favourite player Alan Smith is set to leave the Elland Road club.

The pair along with 14 other youngsters will be representing the West Riding County FA at the final.

Otley Town Juniors player James from Guiseley was selected to represent the Wharfedale FA while Catharine is one of four selected to represent the ever growing sport of girls football in the West Riding.

The Menston girl plays her club football for Bradford side Prospect Juniors. She will be accompanied to the match by her mother.

Fourteen year-old midfielder James will be accompanied to the match by his dad Andrew and older brother Chris.

Chris is a talented footballer himself and has represented the West Riding County FA at Under-18 level in the season just ended.

He will be missing his cricket to support his brother. Last weekend he notched his maiden century playing for Guiseley CC Third team and was due a step up to the second team.
