DESPITE a superb knock of 125 by former Yeadon wicketkeeper Alastair Long Olicanians ended up on the losing side against Colton.

The Ilkley side totalled 266-7 with David Brook, their recruit from neighbours Burley, making 41 and C Taylor 32 to support Long.

The Olicanians bowlers however were not up to the task and Colton knocked off the runs with two overs to spare.

Australian Brendan Borgelt was Colton's big hitter with 93 and there was excellent support from R Brook with 47 and M Horner with 62 no.

Bardsey lead Division C after they notched a fine win over Harden on Saturday. They posted a score of 213-7. Opener A Bowes was run out without scoring but that did not affect his team mates with Ben Neary hitting top score of 49 not out.

Australian Daniel Wilson contributed 43, D Hartley 36 and T Loveridge 30. Harden fell for 74 in reply as Nick Ryder bagged 3-17 off a superb 18 over stint. He was well supported by D Hartley with 2-27 off 13 overs, M Warburton with 1-0 off one over and P Whincup with 2-23 off seven.

Alwoodley had the better of a drawn game with Woodhouse after scoring 209-8 with some solid batting.

Woodhouse replied with 190-9 after opener J Walwyn had hit 54. Michael Buchanan, their overseas player, bowled well for Alwoodley taking 5-63 off 20 overs.

Upper Wharfedale got the better of Bolton Villas after restricting them to 159-7 with Steven Busbridge taking 3-68 off 21 overs. Opener A Gould set Upper Wharfedale on their way with a knock of 53 and the good work was continued by L Barrett (38), A Smith (26) and K Holme (21 no).

Addingham gained a seven wickets win over a Ben Rhydding side who had made 182-7. P Barton top scored for Addingham with 49 while opener A Stoddart made 37.

Opener Toby Stapledon steered Addingham to victory, the Australian making a superb 80 not out. He was well supported in an opening stand by Ben Silverthorne who made 42.
