Paul Heckingbottom wants his future decided within the next four days.

Sheffield Wednesday remain hot favourites to land the City player of the year and expect to complete a deal very soon. Hull and Barnsley are also monitoring developments.

Wednesday boss Chris Turner, who yesterday began his summer rebuilding by signing Rotherham defender Guy Branston, said: "We're trying to sort something out with Bradford for Heckingbottom and hope to hear in the next 24 hours."

Heckingbottom goes on holiday on Tuesday and is hoping everything can be wrapped up by then.

He said: "I want it sorted out so I can switch my phone off and not have to worry about what's going off at Bradford.

"It's a bit premature to say anything has been decided. I need to know what's happening with the PFA and Bradford first.

"When the news came out that players could look elsewhere it put everybody in the spotlight. I know Sheffield Wednesday are interested but there is still nothing definite yet."

Meanwhile, City have thanked West Brom for allowing Darren Moore to play in the T&A Save Our City Pro-Celebrity All Stars match at Valley Parade next Sunday.

Managing director Shaun Harvey said: "We are very grateful to Gary Megson. It is great news and I'm sure our fans will love the chance to see him wearing a City shirt again."

Ben Muirhead, who has just been released by City, has also put his name forward to play.
