All-rounder Matthew Hutton will be hoping to further boost Rawdon's bid to avoid relegation from Division A in tomorrow's clash with title-chasing North Leeds.

The Aussie has been in fine form in July to help Rawdon to a victory and two winning draws, a points haul that has lifted them out of the bottom two.

Bruce Percy has also played a major part in the upturn in form while Dennis Rock, Graham Dobson and Duncan Stow have all contributed.

Rawdon's surge in form means second-bottom Menston are now five points adrift of safety and tomorrow face a tough trip to Guiseley. Menston have won just two games all season, both coming against bottom club Hall Park, and skipper Nick Thornton knows his side are in desperate need of a lift.

David Lester has already hit two half-centuries this month while Richard Taylor last week took seven wickets in a heavy defeat against North Leeds.

Otley, who are now just two points in front of Rawdon, travel to Beckwithshaw hoping Andrew Burke can maintain the bowling form that has brought him nine wickets in the last two games. Sam Smith and James Davies also have important roles to play if Otley are not to be dragged into the relegation fight.

Hall Park, who are still searching for a first win of the season, are at home to fourth-placed Green Lane.

In Division B, top faces bottom as Burley go in search of a first win of the month at home to struggling Skipton. Burley lead the division by eight points but have stuttered in recent weeks, only avoiding defeat last weekend when Thackley failed to hit the three runs needed to win from the final 12 deliveries.

Despite the dip in his side's results, skipper Ben Harris has hit 46 and 58 in the past fortnight while Nick Brook continues to prove Burley's main danger with the ball.

Burley are coming under increasing pressure from Tong Park who, in turn, are nine points in front of nearest challengers Silsden with the two sides meeting tomorrow.

Aussie Daniel Senior has helped Silsden to consecutive wins and he will need to maintain that form if his side are to avenge a May defeat to Tong Park. Gareth Wilkinson hit an unbeaten century in that resounding 129-run win for Tong Park while Ian Jackson took six wickets.

Fourth entertains fifth as Collingham are at home to Thackley with both sides desperate to narrow the gap on the top two.

Second-bottom Calverley have lost three on the trot in the league and need to end that run at Pool. Daniel Hopkinson has been Calverley's most consistent performer while Andy Hirst smashed 134 when his side claimed two points from a losing draw to Pool in May.

Ilkley are level on points with Calverley but out of the relegation zone due to having lost fewer games. They travel to Knaresborough.
