THE Airedale and Wharfedale Cricket League's Second Teams showpiece, the Birtwhistle Cup Final, will be staged on Sunday, August 15, at Olicanians Cricket Club in Ilkley.
The final will be between Rawdon and Steeton and will be sponsored by JMS Cricket.
Rawdon reached the final with a one wicket semi-final victory over Adel in which teenager David Wilkinson played a leading role with a fine knock of 53 not out.
Steeton had an all-round performance by Robert Wynn to thank for their semi-final win over Beckwithshaw. He hit 71 and then took 4-25 as Steeton won by three wickets.
