It's a double whammy at Keighley Picture House this week with two cat-related movies to choose from.

First up is Garfield (U). I have loved Jim Davis's Garfield since I was a youngster, as I am sure thousands of others have.

When I saw that a feature film version had been made, with a computer-generated cat and live action support, I was filled with both joy and dread at the prospect.

In the movie, Jon Arbuckle, played by Road Trip's Breckin Meyer, buys a second pet, a dog named Odie.

Jealous cat Garfield is everything but nice to the new arrival, but when Odie is abducted it is up to the petulant puss to find and rescue him.

Harnessing the talents of Bill Murray, who can do no wrong at the moment, to voice the moody moggy could be a stroke of genius from director Peter Hewitt, but a weak story and twee performances from the likes of hit or miss Jennifer Love Hewitt, could mean cat-astrophe for the comic book creation. Check it out at 2.05pm and 3.50pm daily.

Halle Berry is this year's Catwoman (12a). When shy, sensitive Patience Philips is transformed into sexy and stealthy Catwoman she begins to walk the thin line between criminal and hero.

On her tail is love struck detective Tom Lone (Benjamin Bratt) and her corrupt employer Laurel Hedare (Sharon Stone).

Rumours of on-set catfights between Berry and Stone add a bit of sparkle to this brand spanking new adventure of the feisty feline.

But can this departure from the dark and devious Tim Burton/Michelle Pfeiffer creation be just as appealing? Find out daily at 4pm and 8.30pm.

Also on show is Myers, Diaz and Murphy back in Shrek 2 (U) at 6.15pm daily.

Disney's Home on the Range (U) will be on daily at 2pm and Jessica Garner will be 13 Going on 30 (12a) daily at 6.15pm.
