Following a goalless draw at Hucknall Town in the Conference North on Saturday, Bradford Park Avenue face another difficult away fixture in the league tonight with a visit to Worksop Town.

Striker Karl Colley should reclaim a place in the 16-strong squad after injury but is an unlikely starter.

Also rated doubtful are Ben Cressey and Dean Jones, who both limped out of the weekend game.

"Karl has declared himself fit so we will look at him before the game and if he is clear of the injury he will be involved," said Avenue boss Carl Shutt.

"If we agree with his claim that he has shaken it off then he will be in the squad and we might just find a place on the bench for him.

"With such a short period of time since the last game when Ben and Deano both suffered and had to be taken off they are also doubtful.

"If none of them are fully fit we will be left with the same problems that we have encountered since the season started. We have been dogged by injuries but you have to get on with it and it could be another new-look side on display as we juggle the players around."

Worksop were beaten 3-0 at home by Kettering Town on Saturday but Shutt is not expecting to face a demoralised outfit. The ex-Leeds United and Bradford City ace has been in the game long enough to see the warning signs.

"They got what looks like a bit of a tanking on Saturday and will want to be quick out of the starting blocks and get at us.

"They will have had a rocket after the game and the team-talk for their manager will be simple: 'go and put that right'. That's the best motivation there is.

"We will have to show the character and resolve that we needed towards the end of the game at Hucknall.

"If we get over that initial onslaught then we can start to play. If that burst doesn't come we need to be in the right frame of mind to take the game to them.

"All I will tell my players is that there are no easy rides but we have to be at the races to have a chance of winning, switched on from the minute the players cross the white line.

"If the commitment and attitude is right then we should not be scared of any team in this division."
