Two more Keighley men have been arrested following a police inquiry into activities within the BNP exposed by a television documentary.

This week's arrests of the 47-year-old and 38-year-old Keighley men -- both for conspiracy to commit criminal damage -- takes the total number of arrests to eight following the broadcast of the BBC's Secret Agent film in July.

One of the two men arrested was John Rooney, the financial organiser of the Keighley branch of the party.

The other man is believed to be a former member of the party's Keighley branch.

Both were later released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Six men, four from Keighley, including Bradford councillor Chris Kirby and branch chairman John Joy, were arrested in July. They are due to answer police bail on Monday.

The arrests came after police examined 30 hours of the BBC film, which included Cllr Kirby and Mr Joy allegedly planning an arson attack -- later called off -- on a van carrying anti-BNP leaflets.

The documentary secretly filmed BNP members and activists appearing to confess to race-hate crimes.

Party leader Nick Griffin was also seen admitting he would face a seven-year prison sentence if some of his comments were made public.
