Skipton are travelling on Saturday, with West Leeds, relegated with them last season, awaiting them at Blue Hill Lane. They have a new player at centre, Kier Downey, who has had the odd first team appearance for Bradford and Bingley but played more for the Seconds at Wagon Lane. He is a final year student at Carlisle who has joined Skipton so his appearances may be limited. Mike Beech comes in on the wing for the unavailable Paul Lacy.
