Keighley Athletic 1 Long Lee Druids 0 - The two clubs met for their second cup clash in a week and produced a different game albeit with the same outcome: Whereas the last meeting was an exciting game producing eight goals, this was a dire affair with both teams looking lethargic.

The prolific Steve Kernan settled matters with a tidy finish but Long Lee would have forced extra time if a last minute effort had found its way into the bottom corner, unfortunately for them it struck the woodwork and bounced back into keeper Heath Maddocks' grateful hands.

Stanbury PR 8

George (Cullingworth) 1

Ben Furness scored a hat-trick and was backed up by goals from Dave Armstrong (2), Dave Bainbridge (2) and Neil Rollins in a storming second half for Stanbury.

For the first 65 minutes George were the equal of Premier Division leaders Stanbury, and should have been two goals up in the first 10 minutes. They squandered several chances allowing Stanbury to take a 1-0 lead at half time.

They continued to slug it out early in the second half with Stanbury scoring a second before Gerge pulled a goal back through Anthony Scott.

The game was turned on its head when woeful defending allowed Stanbury to score three goals. Lack of fitness was George's final downfall as the home side added three more goals, one from the penalty spot.

Despite the scoreline Anthony Turner, George's keeper, had an excellent game and saved a penalty.
