Skipton head for Baildon tomorrow hoping to build on last weekend's excellent Yorkshire Three win over Northallerton.

The Sandylands men appear to be in much better shape at the moment and tomorrow's squad contains a couple of newcomers who have yet to make their first-team debuts.

Steve Kreepop is a prop from America who has arrived in the town after playing with Sam Boatright during his spell in the US last summer. He has played for Aspen in the American First Division.

Alex Naylor is a fly-half who has played previously with Hull Ionians and impressed in a recent second-team game.

Not such good news, however, surrounds Kiwi Grant Litt. He was the victim of a tackle which damaged his kidneys last weekend and he is likely to miss the next two matches as a result.

With some uncertainty surrounding the fitness of other members of the squad, Skipton name 17 players for the trip to Jenny Lane. They are: J Firth, G Hindle, N Tiffen, S Kreepop, M Wilsher, G Newhouse, S Boatwright, M Boatwright, M Davison, S Barraclough, D Howson, M Beech, I Sneddon, S Marks, P Lacy, M Richards, A Naylor.

North Ribblesdale have captain Simon Spensley resuming for his first outing of the season on the bench against visitors Scarborough.

Kiwi Steve Taylor, however, is an absentee as the Grove park men seek to avenge a Powergen Junior Vase reverse a couple of weeks ago.

On that occasion indiscipline robbed the side of a chance to repeat last season's Twickenham adventure and given the importance of climbing up the Yorkshire Two table, they need to learn their lesson.

North Ribblesdale: A Simpson; S Cowperthwaite, J Walker, S Evans, P Illingworth; A Whaites, J Hughes; A Bradley, J Ogden, J Thwaite, D Stacy, W Garth, M Carr, R Kirkbride, R Howarth. Rep: S Spensley (capt), A Stubbs, S Heal.
