WHARFEDALE make four changes to the side that won at Stourbridge last weekend and celebrate Antony Capstick's 100th league game for the club when they entertain Rosslyn Park at The Avenue tomorrow (2.30).

Capstick's milestone will earn him a tankard and a generous round of applause from an audience who will know only too well what a reliable, honest performer he has been since moving to The Avenue from North Ribblesdale. To have a second-row pair like Capstick and David Lister has been a massive boost to the Dalesmen down the years and Capstick's arrival among the Green centurions underlines his durability.

Wharfedale make changes for the visit of Park. In the pack, Phil Peel has shoulder trouble and stands down, Craig Ingram and Neil Dickinson taking the propping roles, while there was also a disappointment last weekend for Alastair Allen.

He has been in fine fettle this season, but a dislocated elbow side-lines him tomorrow.

His replacement last weekend, Rob Baldwin, is seen as a young player with a rich future and he gets a chance to advance his claims when he takes the blind-side flanker role alongside Sam Allen and Ben Wade.

Behind the scrum the Dalesmen have Sam Cottrell resuming at scrum-half, with John Newton standing down with warm applause from director of rugby Michael Harrison ringing in his ears.

Also resuming tomorrow is full-back Jonathan Davies, who was a late withdrawal last weekend with a stomach bug. His place was taken by the versatile Adam Oldfield, who handled the full-back and place-kicking roles solidly. He moves to a place on the bench tomorrow alongside Andy Peel, Fraser Lovatt and Phil Hargreaves.
