Sunday afternoon kick-off times at Odsal will be brought forward to 3pm for the Super League X campaign.

The move away from 6pm kick-offs brings the Bulls into line with most other Super League clubs.

The club's research showed the majority of fans favoured the change, said marketing executive James Brammer.

"We have been monitoring this matter over the past couple of years and have spoken to many people," he said.

"We feel it will be in the best interests of the majority of our supporters to bring the kick-off time forward. It will give people with young families, and supporters who do not live in the immediate area, an opportunity to watch the games and still be home in good time on Sunday evening."

Crowds at Odsal tumbled by a Super League-leading ten per cent this season as the club slipped to second place on the attendance table for the first time since the Valley Parade years. Leeds Rhinos overtook the Bulls as the best supported club in the competition, increasing their gates by 25 per cent en route to their first title in 32 years. A new system for determining the final six matches of the season - when the Bulls have traditionally played plum ties against fellow top-six clubs - has the potential to further harm the club's gates.

As second-placed finishers this season, the Bulls are to face the six clubs who finished in odd-numbered positions in Super League IX. Although Leeds and St Helens fit into that category, the Bulls travel to both of those clubs, while drawing Widnes, Salford, Hull and Huddersfield at home.

Brammer, however, is confident an overall increase in quality of the competition will prove a significant draw.

"This coming season the competition will be stronger than ever, with London, Warrington and Huddersfield all significantly improving their playing squads," he said.

"We are looking forward to having many more high-quality games at Odsal in Super League X and the best way to guarantee seeing the Bulls in action - and book cup and play-off tickets - is to take advantage of our superb season ticket offers."
