AT the West Yorkshire Closed Judo Championships at Knottingley Sports Centre on Sunday Aireborough and Wharfedale Judo Club's William Pastow won gold in the Junior 60kg category.
In the Junior Section Armughan Syed won a silver medal in the 46kg category. In the Senior event there was a good entry and weight categories were combined.
Only three weight categories were used instead of the normal seven, making medals hard to come by.
Adam Firth won a bronze medal in the combined 73/81kg category and Miles Delaney won the silver medal in the Open Weight category which included under 90kg, under 100kg and over 100kg categories.
