Local accordion players will again host the instrument's North-Central championships this weekend at Glusburn Institute.
Cross Hills accordion teacher Harry Hinchcliffe and his students are organising the competition for the eighth year.
Harry, who runs the Craven School of Music, is hosting solo, duet and group classes on Sunday from 9.30am.
His former student Robert Thorn, the current British accordion champion, will demonstrate instruments by Italian manufacturer Vigoini.
Harry expects his students to gain many prizes on Sunday as they take on players from as far away as Scotland, the Midlands and the west coast. He said: "I've got a lot of people competing. We're keeping our fingers crossed, hopefully our preparation has been good."
The Craven musicians recently returned from a four-day trip to the Irish championships with a clutch of trophies.
Everyone is welcome to go along to watch the competition. The adjudicator is the 1988 world champion.
