Rail services into Bradford were disrupted for more than two hours this morning after a train broke down at Bingley station.
Replacement buses were operating at Bingley and Shipley stations following the failure of the 5.48am service, which disrupted travel across the Airedale line between Skipton and Bradford Forster Square. The train was moved just after 8am.
A spokesperson for Northern rail said replacement buses were continuing to run during the morning rush hour until normal services were resumed.
She said: "It has effected a very large number of our trains in the area. After the morning peak we will be back to running as normal."
Last Monday commuters faced delays of up to an hour after another Northern Rail train broke down at Bingley station at around 7.30am.
