A group campaigning against developers’ plans to build 475 homes is set to rally public opposition at a community meeting.
Greenhill Action Group (GAG), which is fighting a controversial development in Sty Lane, Micklethwaite, Bingley, will host the meeting to make people aware of what they say would be “disastrous” impact on the area if the scheme is allowed to go ahead.
GAG chairman Terry Brown said people were still unaware of the potential effect the proposals could have on the area’s transport infrastructure, as well as schools and health services.
He said: “I am walking around every day, giving leaflets out to people about this scheme.”
The meeting will be held at Bingley Grammar School on Thursday, April 22, at 7pm.
