A Bradford theatre company is staging the pantomime Cinderella this month to help a young persons’ cancer charity.

The show, in aid of The Laura Crane Trust, will be at Bradford Playhouse in Chapel Street, Little Germany, from Tuesday, February 16, to Saturday, February 20, at 7.15pm each day with a matinee show on the Saturday at 2pm.

It will be put on by Drama Unlimited, who perform pantomimes every year and give the profits to charity.

Lee Petcher, who will play Buttons, said: “All the society think it is a very well worthy charity.

“We have strong links with them and have supported them for a long time.

“Our motto is ‘Having Fun, Helping Others’ and that is why I got involved with it – to get on the stage and do what I enjoy and know the funds will go to a worthy cause.”

For tickets, priced £8.50, or £6.50 for concessions, phone the theatre’s box office on (01274) 820666.
