Children at a Skipton special school are benefiting from a new cycle track.
Brooklands School’s new £18,000 track has been built on land not previously used.
And now, thanks to £10,000 from the lottery’s Awards for All, the area has been transformed – and will be expanded further with a sensory park.
Headteacher John Fryer said: “Many of our pupils can cycle and will now benefit from a safer and extended play area.”
He said the school planned to develop the area further and also plans to allow other schools to use the track while, out of school hours, it will be offered to the local old people’s home as a haven to walk and rest.
