Hollywood came to Bradford last night when rising US movie star Kelly Blatz came to town.
Thornbury’s Odeon cinema rolled out the red carpet for the 22-year-old actorr who is on a four-city UK tour to promote his new Disney channel TV movie – Skyrunners.
An invited audience, including Yorkshire Cricket Club’s Stephen Patterson and Joe Sayers, were there for a special screening.
Blatz is already known on the smallscreen by viewers of Disney XD – a brand of worldwide children’s channels owned by Walt Disney and he has been in a number of independent films including April Showers which was based on the Columbine High School tragedy. Sky magazine has also named him as “the one to watch 2010”.
