Actress Gaynor Faye, starring as Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk at The Alhambra Theatre in Bradford, is lending her support to all the women in this year’s Race for Life in the city.
Gaynor said: “I’ve been a massive fan of Race for Life for many years. It’s something that women of all shapes and sizes can take part in, have fun and really make a difference to others. And it’s thanks to the fantastic ladies from across this city that the Bradford event is such a brilliant and fun day.
“So to ensure that the 2010 event gets a full house, I’m urging those who haven’t already done so to sign up now at raceforlife.org.” Race for Life in Bradford takes place in Lister Park on Sunday, June 13, at 10.30am and 1pm and entry is now officially open.
Last year 4,999 women walked, jogged or ran the 5k course, raising £247,000.
Women in Bradford can enter at raceforlife.org or by calling 0871 641 1111.
Jack and the Beanstalk at the Alhambra Theatre runs until Sunday.
