Skipton Library celebrates its centenary in February, and a month of celebrations begins on Tuesday with a Local Studies and Family History Fair.
The event will give people the chance to explore their local and family history in and around Craven, with displays and information from genealogists and local history societies in the area. It will run from 10am and 3.30pm.
As well as the fair, there will be events and talks throughout the day. These are all free, but places are limited so participants must book a ticket at the library if they wish to attend.
The centenary celebrations also include a competition to win £100 of High Street vouchers and a 100th birthday party on Wednesday, February 17, to which everyone is invited.
