With just a few days to go, the Alhambra pantomime continues to delight audiences.
And part of the show’s wow-factor this year has been down to Professor ZinZan, who performs impressive stunts, including a sword trick and an illusion involving Billy Pearce emerging from a box on stage.
ZinZan is played by Gary Hardy-Brown, one half of illusion act The Twins (pictured), recently awarded the International Stage Magicians of the Year gong at the World Magic Awards. Fast gaining a reputation as one of Europe’s hottest magic acts, The Twins, Gary and Paul, are bringing magic to pantos across the UK.
“Pantomime is a curious entertainment – a form of ritual theatre staged around the winter solstice,” says Gary. “Panto was originally silent – now it’s anything but.”
