A man injected a fellow drug addict in the neck with heroin and then stole the cash she gave him to buy more drugs.
Jaroslav Kurtnota, 23, admitted supplying the woman with heroin and crack cocaine and stealing £40 from her.
Kurtnota, of Amberley Court, Barkerend, Bradford, was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment suspended for two years with supervision and 100 hours’ unpaid work.
Judge Peter Benson ordered him to attend a drug rehabilitation course.
Prosecutor Dave MacKay told Bradford Crown Court today that police found the woman unconscious in Lapage Terrace, Laisterdyke, on April 21 last year.
She was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
She told police she had given Kurtnota £40 to buy heroin and crack cocaine.
Michael Reeves, for Kurtnota, said the drug taking was consensual.
