A flood-prone area of Addingham is set for attention from Bradford Council after a local councillor and parish clerk waded in to see the problem for themselves.
Bradford District councillor and Addingham resident Councillor Michael Kelly said he would ask officers to look into reports of repeated flooding on the footpath between Moor Park Drive and Silsden Road.
Addingham parish councillor Sheila McLachlan, and parish clerk Michelle Holland photographed the flood water, to show the extent of the problem to fellow councillors. Coun McLachlan had asked for overgrown drainage ditches to be dug out.
