Singers are wanted to take part in a musical which explores how Bradford became world famous for its wool production.
Grassington Players are looking for people – especially male singers – to join in their Spring production, Follow the Fleece.
It tells the story, through song and narrative, of the link between Dales sheep farming and the textile city with historical characters from Shakespeare to Titus Salt.
A Players spokesman said: “We need extra singers to swell our usual numbers, especially men and anyone with previous experience singing with a choir.”
Rehearsal nights at the Games Room, in Grassington Town Hall, are Thursdays in January and February, with Mondays added nearer to the performance dates of April 22 to 24. For more information, call (01756) 751944.
