Pakistani pace ace Mohammed Siddiq, who last season took 110 wickets for Bowling Old Lane in Division Two, is proving he can deliver in the top flight.

The young opening bowler destroyed Saltaire on Monday as his new club Baildon took another step towards the top of the Division One table.

Siddiq recorded five for 28 and had the home side on the back foot early on by clean bowling Gharib Razak for a duck and then trapping overseas star Shahid Yousaf lbw, also for a duck. That left Saltaire on six for two.

Siddiq's great quality is line and length and he plugs away remorselessly. There is a big leap in class between the two divisions but clearly the Pakist-ani is going to be a terrific asset for surprise package of the season Baildon.

Saltaire were dismissed for 110 in just 33 overs.

Baildon made sure of an early finish when Scott Richardson (53no) and Simon Davies (40) put on 93 for the first wicket.

Pudsey Congs no longer lead the division - Woodlands and Hanging Heaton have leapfrogged them.

Congs rattled up 231 for six at Bankfoot but the home side, bottom of the division, made a fist of it with Gary Wainwright hitting 86. They finished on 201 for eight when the overs ran out, Congs picking up four points for a winning draw.

Woodlands embarrassed Spen Victoria. First they clubbed 249, with Tim Orrell hitting 80 of them, and then they skittled out the relegation-threatened home side for 78. Safraz Ahmed was the main wicket-taker with six for 29.

Hanging Heaton's early-order batsmen were in fine form at home to Farsley. The visitors made 179 but Chris Schofield (69), Vikrarr Rathour (55) and Zak Morris (51no) knocked off the runs with relative ease.

Chris Taylor plundered six sixes on his way to an unbeaten 112 for East Bierley at Pudsey St Lawrence. It was virtually a one-man act as the visitors run up 202 for six.

Pudsey's Mark Robertshaw (64) and Gary Fellows (38) looked like getting their side on track but they fell well short of the required total.

Bradford & Bingley were all out for 73 as Dinusha Fernando continued his exploits for Idle. The Sri Lankan recorded five for 38.

Idle took less than 15 overs to knock off the runs.

Morley held out for a draw at Cleckheaton.

In Division Two, leaders Keighley won at home again, this time disposing of Great Horton. Horton struggled to 139 for eight and Keighley easily reached the total with Lee Gordon top-scoring with 57. Manningham Mills continued their revival in a high-scoring game at home to Gomersal. Nadeem Hanif was again the key bowler taking six for 24 off 18 overs as Gomersal scored 192 for nine.

Mills reached their target with two wickets to spare. Shezad Aslam (44) and Amjid Hussain (44) were the main scorers.

Salts won a thrilling match at Undercliffe. The home side hit 182 and Salts were down to their last man when they hit the winning runs.
