MARK McEneaney hammered a sparkling 101 as his side totalled 279-7 at Thackley and continued their domination of Division B of the Airedale and Wharfedale League.

Overseas star Simon Dart for once failed being trapped lbw by Neil McLelland without scoring but this did not deter Pool and Steve Wood and McEneaney set about putting things right with a third wicket stand of 173.

Thackley however were a determined bunch and they hung on for a point at 188-7.

In Division A Kirkstall continue to dominate and they remained top of the league after their 71 runs win over Burley. Andy Siddall with 61 and opener N Smith with 39 were the mainstays of the Kirkstall innings of 188-9 with Nick Brook striving hard to keep Burley in the game with a 5-59 return off 15 overs.

Burley's batting however was not up to the mark and they were dismissed for 117 as Neil Walmsley bagged 3-28 and Mark Hodgson 3-14.

Andy Walker hit a century for reigning champions Bilton as they raced to 226-6 against Tong Park. He shared a third wicket stand of 102 with Toby Drummond who could only manage 17 as Walker took control.

Nick Murden led from the front when Park replied and he was unbeaten on 61 when their innings closed at 122-3, uninspiring but a point nevertheless.

Neil Walker hit 30 and Darren Patttinson 29 not out as Follifoot gained victory in a low scoring game against Guiseley who were restricted to 114-7.

Simon Ross top scored for Guiseley with 37 not out but it was all in vain as Follifoot went on to win by five wickets.

Otley's new look team are enjoying some success and they gained a five wickets win over Adel who had fallen for 120 as Australian Andrew Burke reaped 6-25 off his 13.5 overs.

After losing both Gary Thompson and Sam Smith cheaply James Davies steered Otley to victory with a fine 77 and he shared a third wicket stand of 79 with Matthew O'Grady who made 22.

Bruce Percy retired hurt on 15 as Rawdon faced Beckwithshaw. Openers M Hutton and S Wilson had both been dismissed without scoring and with Percy out of the way and Duncan Stow going for one Rawdon were in deep trouble. Percy however returned later in the innings to make a top score of 74 not out as Rawdon made 159-9.

This proved too many for Beckwithshaw who capitulated for 140 as Andrew Sugars bagged a superb 7-26 off 18 overs. This was after Ben Quick had given Beckwithshaw a good start with a knock of 54.

In Division B Paul Spragg hammered 129 as Steeton raced to 240-8 against Knaresborough who then showed some spirit to reach 215-6 with Stuart Carey making 41, Jamie Pickles 39 and Greg Pickles 36.

Kris Lewis took 5-50 to tear through beleaguered Menston for whom only Australian Nick Hutton showed any resistance making 70 out of their 97 all out.

Horsforth went on to win by four wickets thanks to an unbeaten 39 from Anthony Cadman after Richard Taylor had taken 3-29.

Ilkley made 206-8 but lost by a seven wicket margin to Collingham who had a century maker in opener Matthew Cooke. He shared an opening stand of 144 with Brian Leigh who made 44. Top scorer for Ilkley was New Zealander Leighton Parsons who hit 95 from the opening spot and was well supported by young Alex Bailey with 40 in an opening stand of 103.

In Division C Olicanians gained a four wickets win over visitors Addingham who set a modest target of 131 as they struggled against the bowling of D Murray (4-17) and Bernard Hughes (3-31). A half-century from their overseas player David Corcoran set Olicanians up for the win.

New Rover opener Richmond hammered 84 as his side replied with 181-8 to Harden's 232-4 of which opener Gary Topp made 80.
