Scott Medley from Ilkley has progressed on from Formula Cadet Karting to competing in the Super One British Kart Championship.
Scott, aged eight, is racing with boys upto 12 years old, and now has a UK ranking of 24th.
Scott is the youngest ever driver to qualify for Super One, and is racing throughout the UK this summer with his team mate Josh White.
The pair have recently been offered a drive with the prestigious Fusion Motorsport team whom are currently running the top driver in British Championship.
There is an offer on the table of a three year contract.
The British Championship will take place in Dorset, Newark, Glasgow, Oxford and Cumbria to mention just a few rounds.
Scott and his team mate Josh are currently running Tonykart W60 Comers which have sealed engines and strict weight restriction to ensure all drivers race at a minimum weight, thus creating a level platform.
Both drivers have shown great potential and are coached by Ex-British Kart Champion Tim Sugden.
