SIX members of the Cougar Cubs took their first steps on the road to rugby league success when they represented the district.
The members of the Cubs Under-12s team were selected for the Bradford & Keighley Service area team after undergoing trials. They are members of the 26-strong district squad and will all get representative honours in a series of games.
This week they played Salford and pulled off a 34-0 victory. The six are: Jordan Aitchison, Martyn Broadley, Conor Caveney, Josh Lynam, Jamie Pickles and Ben Stead.
In an earlier games they beat Calderdale 28-10 and lost to Leeds. They play Kirklees away on June 4 and Hull at home on June 11.
