West Yorkshire's Lesley is out and the future of opinionated former speech-writer Derek looks shaky, but thanks to his stylish subdued ways Bingley's Ron looks safe from eviction.

The sleek operator has been a quiet hit with the Big Brother housemates, warming them up after chilly showers in the house's open-air bathroom.

Bingley firm Feature Radia-tors has supplied three 'Ron'-style radiators to the Big Bro-ther house, although the company is well used to bringing warmth to celebrity television programmes.

Katie Findlay, Feature's marketing director, said the firm has already provided funky radiators to properties featured on channel 5's How Not to Decorate, the BBC's DIY SOS and GMTV and Bradford Pop Idol Gareth Gates.

"The production company for Big Brother actually made a mistake and fitted the kitchen radiator the wrong way up," Katie revealed. "It looks rather dramatic actually and we're talking to the manufacturers to see if they can supply them like that as well." The other two Rons can be seen in the large living area.

But Ron has a dark secret. A programme insider revealed Big Brother has been known to mischievously play with the heating controls if he feels like hotting up the atmosphere in the house, making Ron an accomplice in his schemes.

But Katie and managing director Phil Jackson are just delighted that their products are in front of millions of viewers.

"These have to be the country's most watched radiators," she said. "It's all great publicity."

Feature, based at The Railway Station in Wellington Street, already supplied a bench-style radiator for the Big Brother 4 house. "It's all word of mouth," said Katie on the company's favour in the television world.

The firm has also reached the last 50 of HSBC's Start-up Stars contest, aimed at finding the UK's best new businesses.
