Boys from the Wyke-based Vision Academy coaching school fulfilled a dream by playing at the Reebok Stadium - home of Premiership club Bolton Wanderers.
The under-eight youngsters were invited, along with Vision Academy head coach Tibor Szabo, to Bolton's own tournament, which featured sides from Bury, Blackpool, Liverpool and Manchester.
And the Bradford boys acquitted themselves well, only losing 2-1 to eventual winners Bury.
Bolton's youth recruitment officer Tom Critchley said: "The players did very well. We know that the Vision Academy have some very talented boys as six of their under-sevens are at our development centre in Cleckheaton that Tibor runs, and we want to expand to higher age groups next season."
Szabo, a former Bradford City, Macc-lesfield and Mossley player among others, has also progressed six Vision youngsters to Bolton's Academy, which they have been attending for a year.
The six are Tyron Sagar of Heck-mondwike, a Year One pupil at Whit-cliffe Mount; Wyke's Toby Stanley and James Dennison, pupils at Worthing-head School; fellow Year Two pupils Callum Docherty (Bailiff Bridge School) of Wyke and Caden Wilkinson (Leeside School) of Heckmondwike, and Year Three youngster Adam Forbes (Millbridge School) of Liver-sedge.
Szabo said: "My Academy teams are playing in leagues from next Septem-ber and I have formed six sides - the under-sevens through to the under-11s will play in the Keybury League, and the under-12s will be in the Craven, Aire and Wharfe League.
"The squads are about 90 per cent full, but I can be contacted on 01274-607084 for further details."
