The weather played havoc with the cup games scheduled for Sunday, with only one game able to reach a conclusion.

All the other games were stopped in the early stages, with most of them being restarted next Sunday.

The completed game was in the Wynn Cup at Embsay where Sutton were the visitors. The home side batted first and despite interruptions made 200-3.

Duncan Ward completed his second century of the weekend on the last ball of the innings. Earlier Simon Bailey had scored 65.

The Sutton innings started around 7-15pm and was making reasonable progress until Paul Hardaker was caught behind for 43, to leave the score on 73-2. Both teams stuck to the task in hand and in gathering gloom the visitors closed on 167-9 at 9-40pm.

Scott Robinson claimed 4-44 and Richard Phillipson 3-26.

Embsay now travel to Barrowford in the third round

The other Wynn Cup game between Haworth and Ingrow will re-start on Sunday.

In the Cowling Cup all the ties have been re-scheduled for this Sunday.

The draw is: Sutton v Crossflatts, Keighley TC v Foulridge, Pendle Forest v Cullingworth, Gargrave v Embsay, Barrowford v Sandy Lane, Glusburn v Chatburn, Cowling v Carleton and Oakworth v Haworth.
