Steve Welch led the way for Cullingworth with 46 as his side made a fighting 175-9 against Glusburn.

Kevin Hird took 4-44 to give the South Craven side a fighting chance, but they could only manage 120 in reply as Chris Welch took 6-39 off 11 overs and David Robinson 4-44 off 20 overs.

Oakworth were in good form at home to Cowling and posted a challenging 227-4. Skipper Tim Walsh scored 72, Michael Scarborough 50no and Luke Scott 45. The visitors were held to 146-8 in reply with Keith Woodhead making 35 as Jason Bilbrough claimed 3-50.

The top of the table clash at Beckfoot saw visitors Barrowford come away with the points and open up a seven-point gap at the top. Homesters Bingley Congs were restricted to 138 with Neil Copping top scoring with 59 (7x4s and 4x6s) as Farouk Shehzad ran amok to finish with 8-48.

The Red Rose reply revolved around Ronnie Misra who made 63no to lead his side to victory by four wickets with 21 balls to spare.

Congs slip to third with Embsay moving into second spot after a mismatch of a game. Haworth WE have been struggling to compete this season and had difficulty putting out a side. They lost the toss and the home side decided to get some batting practice. Skipper Duncan Ward crashed 147 and James Tiffany 85no as they made a massive 277-2. The Bronte side then capitulated to 28 all out.

Foulridge languish at the foot of the table following a seven-wicket beating by Haworth. Batting first they could only muster 88 with James Lickess making 37no as Jamie Rowell took 6-23 and Richard Godden 3-18. Damian Rowell made 38no as the Bronte side cruised to victory.

Bradley are only two points ahead of the bottom two after they went down by five wickets at home to Thornton. The visitor's captain, Richard Craddock took 7-41 as the homesters slumped to 109. The Booth Bridge Lane side galloped to a comfortable victory.

Division Two leaders Haworth Road and Denholme, were both away.

Denholme were in sparkling form with the bat at Cononley where Rob Taylor made a superb 116 as his side reached 244-6. The home side made a very creditable reply of 191 with Craig Watts, who earlier taken 3-65, making 60 as Richard Wear and D Taylor took four wickets each.

Meanwhile Haworth Road were along the Aire Valley Road at Airedale and notched up 192-6 with Josh Crooks making 77. The Keighley side, who fell 14 short of their target, were always in the hunt as long as I Zaman was at the crease. However he was run out for 93 with the score on 173, and only four more runs were added for the last three wickets.

Ingrow keep up the pressure on the top two after a 56-run victory at Pendle Forest in a high scoring game.

Sandy Lane figured in another close finish and this time the result went in their favour. At Crossflatts they knocked over the home side for 120. Joe Gath made 36 as Paul Noble spun his way to 7-35. In reply it was nip and tuck all the way, with the last pair putting on 11 runs to nick the points in the 36th over. M Roberts made 32 as Q Ayub finished with 5-55 and I Siddique 3-53.

There was another exciting finish at Sutton where the home side won by one run over Skipton CI. The home side were struggling at 108-9 before the last pair put on 36 to take the score to 144. Sean Williamson bowled well to finish with 7-50. CI were handily placed on 129-5 before slumping to a disappointing defeat. Ian Burke top scoring with 37 as Si Doane took 5-53 and Justin Holdsworth 4-47.

Chatburn's Steve Braithwaite performed the hat-trick, but his side still went down by nine runs at Long Lee. The Keighley side made 169 with Paul Stowell scoring 44 as Steve Booth took 4-65. The Ribble Valley side fell agonisingly short of their target, despite 40 from D Wardle and 32 from Stuart Draycott.

Division Three has new leaders after Oakworth 2nds narrowly lost at Wilsden. The homesters were indebted to Ben Pierson who made 42 and rescued them from 113-6 to help them to 168-8. The Cure Hill side got off to a good start with Lee Hollingsworth, 50, and Joel Gallagher, 47, putting on 94 for the first wicket. However, their colleagues just failed to sustain the challenge and were all out for 160. Pierson, rubbing salt into the wounds, finished with 6-69.

Ingrow St John's go top after a good win over at one time leaders Thornton II. The home side struggled with the bat and were dismissed for 118. It took the Saints 32 overs to reach their target for the loss of six wickets. John Green 30 and Colin Bottomley 29 were their main contributors.

Embsay II shocked Gargrave at Skipton Road, winning by seven wickets. The game was a personal triumph for Zuffar Iqbal who took 4-21 and scored 57no for the winners. Nas Hussain 3-21 and Simon Holt 3-17 also bowled well for the winners.

Ingrow St John's II were too strong for Pendle Forest II at Street Lane. The Fence side made a moderate 142 which the Saints galloped past for the loss of three wickets. H Ibrahim scored 58no for the winners.

Haworth Road II just got the better of Riddlesden at Baildon Bottom. The home side had Stan Kaznowski, who made 82, to thank for their 177-8. In the Keighley side's reply, which closed 11 short, Martin Burgess finished with 6-57.

Liam Roberts made 109no as Barrowford rattled up 223-3 at home to Jimmy Nelson's. Pete Hakin chipped in with 36no and Neil Hargreaves 32. The visitors replied with 164 with Tony Stafford making 73 as Hakin took 3-38.

Glusburn, leaders of Division Four, slumped to an unexpected defeat at home to Airedale. Batting first the homesters rattled up 193-7 with Alan Coney making 67. Undeterred the visitors stormed to a superb six-wicket win with Chris Alvey scoring 78.

Crossflatts close the gap to two points after a narrow 10 run win over neighbours Bingley Congs. J Bairstow made 78no as 'Flatts reached 165, with N Ragan taking 6-41. L Bailey took 4-32 as Congs just failed to reach their target.

Haworth's Glen Ogden 43no and Damian Bailey 7-20 were their stars as they saw off Keighley TC by five wickets.

Bradley's journey to Ramper Park proved to be fruitful as they won by 52 runs. The visitors made 148-8 with 16-year-old James Burke top scoring with 38. Carleton's reply was undermined by a fine spell of bowling by 15-year-old Matty Simpson who finished with 8-35.

Cowling turned in a dismal performance which saw them go down by five wickets at home to Long Lee.

Ten-man Skipton CI lost the services of skipper and opening bowler John Stuttard in the fifth over of the game and struggled to contain Wilsden who scored 177-8. The Sandylands side could only manage 55 in reply.

Division Five leaders Cullingworth were in fine form at Pendle Forest III. After dismissing the Fence side for 102, they knocked off the runs without losing a wicket.

Second placed Cononley travelled to Denholme and made 211-8 with Kendall Gott scoring 55 and Sam Akrigg 51. The home side's reply was always on course until the final stages. After the dismissal of Richard Taylor for 84, the visitors took the initiative and got home by just six runs. Tim Starkey took 4-39 for the victors.

Sandy Lane got the better of Riddlesden at Stockbridge winning by 15 runs in a low scoring game.

Chatburn managed to see off visitors Gargrave by three wickets whilst up at Ingrow, Ian Herbert, with 85no, guided the homesters to 215-7. Visitors Foulridge managed 163-9 in reply with Bernard Swarbrick making 52 as I Wilce finished with 4-23.
