A Bradford-based organisation which helps young people, unemployed adults, communities and businesses has appointed two new directors.
Apire-i provides services such as the Connexions advice service for young people and training services for the unemployed.
Councillor Gill Thornton and Yasmin Khan have been appointed to the board.
Coun Thornton is a Labour councillor for Royds ward and serves on the Bradford South area committee.
Yasmin Khan is the manager of the Staying Put Initiative in Bradford which works with abused women, making sure they are not forced out of their own home and can feel safe from further abuse.
Ian Hartley, chairman of the board, said: “These two new members bring with them a wealth of experience.”
