Shipley clock tower joined famous landmarks around the world today when it was turned pink to mark National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Residents and visitors to Shipley will be able to see the clock tower illuminated in pink light for the month to raise awareness of breast cancer and raise money for research into it.
Councillor Adrian Naylor, Bradford Council’s executive member for regeneration, said: “The clock tower in Shipley is iconic for local people and this is a great opportunity to mark a very special cause.”
The clock tower was professionally lit in July when the clock was refurbished to chime on time.
